World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a vital aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enhancements.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it gains a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. Some upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional benefits. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. Most require that the item is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it is able to be upgraded with a different one but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
In item upgrade to the standard upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon level.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade it can be rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be used simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the type of damage a weapon deals.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and, finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other gear. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially true for enchantments that can increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. This is possible for all types of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. Some upgrades, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can be extremely useful in combat. For instance, they can boost the speed of attack or block. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The reality is that certain armors come with very substantial boosts to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them invaluable for certain builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.

Potion
By placing a potion on the stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different tier of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potions also get an individual color, which can be set by the player using the /give. The color affects the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a brand new brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be made by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Bug Tracker is the place to report any issues related to this patch.
Trinket
A trinket could be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag used to identify a boat's lateen yard. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is fixed to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. At present the trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more common and gives every floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a small amount of energy.
The magic from this enchanted scepter seems to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to create grass and water. This trinket, at its current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are produced to solve danger rooms.
This item, which looks like eyes of a newt, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely decreasing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and gives you mind-sight on enemies within the Y tile. This trinket does not stack with the Higher Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket which requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as many times as you'd like, but it will always have an effect that is new.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a small amount.
